On Sunday, November 24, 2024, RAW Studio Jakarta and Tase Community worked alongside one another to host Restore & Revitalize: A Mindful Approach to Stress, a workshop designed to support participants in managing stress and preventing burnout. Through this special collaboration, we aimed to harmonize physical and mental well-being, highlighting the importance of cultivating healthy coping mechanisms and maintaining balance in everyday life.
The session began with a rejuvenating 60-minute yoga flow led by the wonderful Kiki Kian, designed to help participants reconnect with their bodies and release physical tension. With a mix of gentle movements and deep breathing, the flow allowed us to set the tone for introspection, creating a calm and safe space for self-reflection.
Following the yoga session, Tase Community facilitate a 30-minute workshop exploring the psychological dimensions of stress. The session highlighted how stress develops in our bodies, identifying the signs of stress and learning the best ways to cope with stress. This was supported by a guided journaling session, allowing participants a chance to delve deeper into their personal experiences.
Stress is an unavoidable part of life. While we may not always control the amount of stress we face, we do have the power to choose how we respond to it. This workshop provided participants with a valuable opportunity to reconnect with themselves, explore their unique stressors, and discover personalized coping strategies to navigate challenging situations with resilience. "Restore & Revitalize" showcased the power of integrating yoga and mental health practices, leaving attendees inspired to prioritize their own needs in their daily lives.
