This year, on International Women’s Day, Tase Community worked alongside Cosmic Studios to host a special workshop and a sound healing session to release and let go of perfectionism. This session served as a space for reflection, healing, and self-empowerment, guiding participants toward a mindset of self-compassion and growth. As we explored perfectionism and learned to identify how it shows up in our daily lives, many attendees resonated with the feeling of never being “good enough” or constantly striving for more. We discussed how perfectionism often masks deeper fears—of failure, rejection, or not being worthy of love and success. 

Following the discussion, we transitioned into a sound healing session hosted by Nina Karina Nikicio, designed to help release the mental and emotional tension that perfectionism creates. With soothing vibrations and intentional breathing, participants allowed themselves to let go of self-imposed pressures. This experience served as a reminder that healing doesn’t just happen in the mind—it happens in the body, too.

A key theme of the workshop was learning how to reframe your thoughts. The idea of perfectionism can never be achieved, so instead of striving for an unattainable ideal, we explored how embracing changing our mindset can allow for deeper growth and fulfillment

Through guided exercises, attendees practised re-framing their inner dialogue—turning self-criticism into self-kindness. This reflection helped participants recognize the harshness of their self-talk and the importance of treating themselves with the same kindness they offer others.

This Women’s Day gathering was more than just a workshop—it was a reminder that true strength comes not from flawless performance, but from the courage to show up as we are. I’d also like to thank everyone who joined us during this session, especially Cosmic Studios and Nina for sharing their space with us. In letting go of perfectionism, I hoped we all found a way to make room for something far greater.
